I am quite busy teaching, composing, improvising, recording and playing the piano. I like travelling as well and spend lots of time with my animals. Consequently, I seldom appear on stage.
But now and then I’m looking forward to give a concert.
The next concerts:

"Dass am Grunde der Moldau die Steine wandern, mag sein ..." Harry Oberländer is reading his poetry-cycle "Chronos Krumlov"
Sunday, the 12th of August 2012 ar 11 am at Nebbienisches Gartenhaus (Bockenheimer Anlage - near Hilton Hotel - City Frankfurt).
Recital of Thomas Berger - improvisations of Claudia Burris pianoforte.
Former Concerts:
Entire unexpected we took over a substitution. As a result the duo PRISMA (= Beneike Derbridge [violoncello] and Claudia Burris [pianoforte]) was playing at the 11th of september 2011 at 11 am at the Nebbienisches Gartenhaus (Bockenheimer Anlage - near Hilton Hotel - City Frankfurt).
Similar to our former concert "Aprilsch(m)erz" we were improvising totally free.
Once a month I play at the Saint-Ignatius-Church in Frankfurt, (usually on the third weekend during the service on saturdays and sundays) mostly on the piano, infrequently on the organ.
Again and again I am very enthusiastic about the impressive architecture of the Ignatius-Church. The architect Gottfried Böhm created here a building similar to a high tent with marvellous glass windows.
Here comes a retrospective view of my last concerts:
It was a delightful evening. The storyteller Hannelore Marzi recited fairy tales in her very own exciting manner. My accompanyment on the piano was partly improvised, parly taken from my compositions.
On the occasion of the childrens-concert ‘the dance of the mice’ (9/6/2008) two schoolgirls played pieces from my piano-books. We had a ‚full house’ and the children where dancing versatile.
The smallest children where dancing the ‘Star Waltz’ in the arms of their fathers and everybody took part in the ‘Round-dance of the mermaids’.
During the ‚Dance of the Serpent’ the children fromed a curled-up snake. Slowly but shurly it winded its way up in accordance to the music.
For the children it was exciting to find out how to play ‘space music’ with the tone-scale or how to create oriental sounds with semitones.
It was a cheerful event with plenty of laughter and a lot of movement. Thanks to all participants.
In the end there was a dish full of sugary mice to have a sweet tooth.
On the occasion of the concert-Matinée ‘Dream-Journey’ (9/7/2008) I were playing a cross section from all my piano-books.
The shining-blue late summer day at the historical garden house under the beautiful great plane tree guaranteed a good atmosphere …
On the 18th of November we had a reading from books of French poetesses.
During the reading I where improvising free on the grand piano of the garden house as I did last year at Borchert.
On the third weekend in November I travelled to Lithuania.
First I went to Klaipeda to give a concert at the music school there.
Everybody was very cordial towards me.
The concerts in Lithuania brought me lots of interesting people to start plenty of exchange of ideas.
In Palanga the music school is simultaneously an art school. The walls were decorated with simply beautiful paintings.
Some childrean had prepared themselves for the concert with pieces of ‘Dance of the Mice’ which we played as duets on the piano during the concert.
Besides I presented pieces from my piano books and the listeners reacted enthusiastically.
In the end some pupils of the music school played piano works for me. I thougt that very nice.
I was particularly affected by the lots of beautiful flowers, each listener brought by.
When all was said and done I had a hell of a lot of roses in my arms. I felt fortune has always smiled upon me.
Thanks to the people in Lithuania for all the nice things I was allowed to experience in that country.
Back again I’m happy not to be forced to prepare further concerts for the next weeks.
Perhaps I find the leisure, to record my compositions, I’ve been planning for such a long time …
